18k Gold fish hook pendant with the necklace of your choice in 18k gold or silver.
Pendant in the shape of a fishhook with a large body whose tip is in solid yellow gold. At the base of the hook is represented the rope which is normally used to tie it to the line by windings of 18k yellow gold threads as well. The body of the hook is offered either in 925 silver or in 18k white gold depending on your expectations and your budget, both offer essentially the same rendering in the end.
The hook is an important Polynesian symbol, called Hei Matau, it is traditionally made of gold or nephrite stone. Its importance is linked to the founding myths of the different cultures scattered on the Polynesian islands. This type of jewelry was popularized by the Disney movie "Moana" since the character Maui is always visible with his giant hook.
In the case of this design, the pendant is 21 millimeters high by 14 millimeters wide for a total height of 30 millimeters with the bail and a gold weight of:
- 1 gram of 18-carat gold for the solid silver and yellow gold version
- 4 grams of 18-carat gold for the white gold and yellow gold version
It is therefore relatively light when worn around the neck while being visible. This pendant is available in two versions via the drop-down side menu, solid silver, yellow gold or white gold, and 18k yellow gold.
