This sleek sterling silver ring features a blue star sapphire cut in 1.35-carat cabochon measuring 7 millimeters in length by 5 millimeters and set with a bezel setting.
The ring body is 3 millimeters wide, on which is placed a diamond set flush next to the sapphire. The diamond is 1.9 millimeters in diameter, weighs 0,025ct, and is color G and purity VS2.
The sapphire is encased in the shank of the ring, it is integrated so that the sapphire does not exceed too much on the finger.
The star sapphire is a natural sapphire that has the distinction of showing a cross with 6 branches when exposed to natural light. This phenomenon is called asterism is due to the presence of rutile needles in the stone.
