Black gold men's wedding band
Men's wedding band in black gold.
This is an original design created and manufactured in our workshop. This is a men's wedding ring with raised edges made of 18-karats white gold with the central part hollow and plated with black gold (which is black rhodium).
As you certainly know, black gold is obtained only by plating a layer of black rhodium on the gold of the ring. It offers a sparkling black hue that contrasts sharply with the 18-karats white gold of the shank.
This ring is made out of a laminated 18k white gold band that is cut in length and shaped like a normal ring first. Then the central and lateral hollowed parts of the ring are carefully made by hand before being plated with black gold, giving its unique style.
Note that because black gold is plated on white gold, it can be damaged by shocks and scratches, so the raised edges of the band design protect the plating to endure longer. The black rhodium plating is 7 to 10 micrometers thick, giving it a very good lifetime.
This men's wedding band is 6 millimeters wide and weighs around 7 grams in 18-karats gold. Note that the weight of the ring may vary slightly depending on your finger size.
This ring is available in white gold with black gold only but can be made in other gold colors if you wish to contact us.
Who is this ring for?
This ring offers a unique style that will seduce a man looking for a deep black hue for his wedding ring. He will enjoy the color contrast of this modern ring design being both male and original.
