Carnelian stone ring in 18-karats gold.
This is an antique-style ring with a massive design that is topped with a natural carnelian cabochon stone. The design is simple, consisting of a large and thick ring, topped by a ring plate which is also wide.
The entire ring is decorated with milgrain, both on the perimeter of the ring and on that of the ring plate. This simple decoration is a direct reminder of the style of the ancient Roman rings that you certainly already know.
The ring is set with a carnelian stone approximately 14 millimeters long by 10 millimeters wide and set in a bezel.
The carnelian stone is a well-known jewelry stone and widely used since antiquity in the form of a cabochon to adorn rings or to make a seal in the form of intaglios mounted on rings. This stone is indeed very hard and lends itself well to its use in jewelry, being very durable.
This ring is 16,5 millimeters wide at the level of the carnelian stone and only 2,5 millimeters wide at the bottom, however, the ring is quite thick, being 2 millimeters thick at the bottom, the thinnest part of the ring. The total weight is 6,3 grams in size 7. Consider that the gold weight of your ring may vary slightly depending on your finger size.
When ordering your ring, you can choose the color of 18-karats gold via the drop-down side menu, your choice: white gold or yellow gold only, as pink gold does not fit so much with the color of carnelian stone.
Who is this ring for?
This ring will satisfy a woman looking for a ring set with a carnelian stone, but of antique inspiration, which will allow her to appreciate the color of a natural stone mounted on a totally original design and comfortable to wear.
