Oval solitaire ring
Solitaire engagement ring in 18k gold.
Thin and uncluttered ring featuring an oval-cut solitaire diamond measuring 7 millimeters in length and mounted on a 4-prong setting raised above the ring body. You will notice the thin setting leaving the diamond clearly visible and whose 4 claws are grouped together in a single point on the ring body, leaving the solitaire raised above the ring. Note that the claws are relatively wide, ensuring a good hold of the stone.
Oval-cut diamonds are much less common than round brilliant-cut diamonds, the most common cut, and yet this cut also emphasizes the bright reflections of the diamond particularly well. In addition, the oval shape looks like a trompe l'oeil and gives the impression that the diamond is larger than it actually is.
The ring body represents a cord shape on the top three quarters of the ring while the last quarter is smooth. This styling effect gives more shine and luminosity to the ring.
The diamond is 7 millimeters by 5 millimeters wide and weighs 0.7 carats. It is of H color and SI purity.
The ring is 7 millimeters wide at the oval solitaire and 2 millimeters wide across the entire ring body, for an 18 karat gold weight of 2.5 grams in size 6. Note that the gold weight of your ring may vary slightly depending on your ring size.
When ordering your ring, you can choose the color of 18 karat gold via the drop-down side menu, your choice: white gold, yellow gold or pink gold.
