These original earrings represent the shape of the famous Andean cross, known as the Chakana cross of the Inca culture. You will notice the convex shape of the earrings perforated in their center and whose characteristic geometry distinguishes it from other types of crosses.
This cross is one of the most emblematic symbols of Inca culture, having been found both on textiles and engraved in stone at places of worship. Symbolizing the southern cross, it is a cosmological and religious symbol that informs archaeologists about the Inca's conception of the world.
These stud earrings are available in 3 different sizes:
- 10 mm: each cross is 10 millimeters large and the total gold weight of the pair is 3,3 grams
