All the designs of gold nugget jewelry offered in our collection are handcrafted in our workshop. Only the cutting and faceting of the precious stones set on our rings are done by professional lapidaries and not in our jewelry workshop.

We master all stages of manufacturing in our jewelry workshop, from the creation of digital CAD models, the 3D printing process, the lost wax casting process, the work on the jeweler's bench of 18k or 24k gold, as well as the setting of our precious stones and diamonds, thus allowing us to guarantee the quality of our jewelry.

Raw gold nuggets in nature

Gold nuggets are a fascinating piece of raw gold found in nature and known as native gold. Usually, nuggets are 20k to 22k pure and some Australian nuggets can reach 23k of gold purity. Impurities found in these nuggets can be silver and copper. With such a pure gold nugget, one can notice the strong yellow-orange color of pure gold. The deeper the orange-yellow color is, the purer is the gold nugget.

These gold nuggets were the first pieces of gold found by humans to make antique gold jewelry. The easiest way to find such gold nuggets is in watercourses where the water washed ores, separating gold from the rest. Then, by gravity, gold naturally lays on the water bed as it is much denser than other metals, rocks, and minerals.

While most gold nuggets can be gold gains or rather small, the biggest gold nugget ever found weighed 71kg of gold, it was found in Australia in 1869.
