This cross pendant is unique because of its design and the purity of gold used to make it. The branches of the cross are made of twisted pure gold wire giving volume to the cross design and each extremity receives a circular cap. At the center of the cross, there is a knot representing the attachment between the horizontal and vertical parts of the cross.
On top of the cross, you can see the bail that is fixed to the cross. All the branches of the cross are cylindrical, which gives volume and weight to your pendant.
This 24k gold cross pendant is available in three different sizes:
- 20 mm: the cross is 20 millimeters high and 13 millimeters large, 1,9 millimeters thick, and 24 millimeters long in total with the bail and weighs 2,5 grams of 24k gold
- 25 mm: the cross is 25 millimeters high and 16 millimeters large, 2,3 millimeters thick, and 30 millimeters long in total with the bail and weighs 4,6 grams of 24k gold
- 30 mm: the cross is 30 millimeters high and 19 millimeters large, 2,7 millimeters thick, and 36 millimeters long in total with the bail and weighs 8 grams of 24k gold
To wear your pendant, you have the choice between two different 18k gold chains that are 18 inches long:
- Curb chain that is 1,2 mm large, 18 inches long, and weighs 2,4 grams
- Rolo chain that is 2 mm large, 18 inches long, and weighs 3,9 grams
Pure gold:
24k gold is characterized by its deep yellow-orange color, it is unalterable meaning it will never tarnish and is not attacked by acids or bases (chemicals). It is very malleable which means it is easy to shape. Yet you would struggle to bend this ring with your fingers. Nonetheless, 24k gold is less rigid than 18k gold, so special care must be taken not to bump your pure gold ring.
This 24k gold cross pendant is available only in deep yellow gold color as pure white gold does not exist.
