Custom 24k Gold Jewelry

When it comes to jewelry, 24k gold is the most precious metal you could use to make a unique jewelry. For most precious it is, pure gold has some constraints you should be aware of (check our post: gold karat meaning).

Three main particularities characterize 24k gold:

• Color
• softness
• weight

Color: 24k gold is obviously yellow, deep yellow and only yellow. As being pure gold, it is not possible to have pure gold of different color as it has not been mixed with any other metal. (white gold and rose gold are the result of pure gold mixed with other metals that change its color, check here what is white gold made of).

Softness: 24k gold is also a soft metal that is quite easy to bend compared to 18k gold or enve 22k gold. So jewelry made from pure gold has to be thicker than 18k gold jewelry to withstand the everyday life being worn during decades.

Weight: density of 24k gold is 19,5 while 18k gold density is 15,4. So every jewelry made in pure gold is almost 30% heavier than the same jewelry made of 18k gold. Obviously, this affects the price of our 24k jewelry as it is heavier and 1 gram of pure gold is more expensive than 1 gram of 18k gold.

Taking into account this information, these are the reason not all jewelry is made of 24k gold and why 24k gold jewelry really stands out of conventionnal jewelry.

Custom 24k Gold Rings

Pure gold ring are made thicker than 18k gold ring to ensure they will not deformed themselves during the decades they will be present on your finger.

Pinky Ring

This is the case with this small pinky ring engraved with initials and with personalized engraving on the ring's flanks.

Signet Ring 

This pure gold signet ring is a custom design finished with black gold coating. As the details are molded in 3D and the gold is coated black, the final polishing reveal all the engraving with a strong color contrast between the 24k deep yellow gold and the dark black gold.

 Wedding Ring

This thin wedding band is also made in 24k gold and is engraved with branches and leaves and the message in French Joie sans fin (Happiness without limit).

24k Gold Name Ring

Name ring is a traditional family present that can also be made in 24k gold. Such a ring can be made with 2, 3 or even 4 names on the ring (depending on the length of the names) like this ring presented below.

 You will notice that each name is separated from the others by a small heart set with a small diamond.

Custom Name Necklace 

 A lot of customization in jewelry is made from the names of our clients or the name of the person the jewelry is made for. In the case of this name necklace, a husband asked us to make this with the names of his kids to offer the personalized necklace to his wife.

We made the name of the three kids in 24k gold while the chain is made in our workshop n 18k gold to give more resistance to the necklace.

This kind of name necklace can easily be personnalized with the number and size of the names, the font used to write the names and the type of chain.
