Thin chain necklace for men in 950 platinum.
This necklace is made up of a thin, simple cable chain ending in a 5-millimeter wide spring clasp, also in 950 platinum. You will notice in the photos the detailed view of the links of the thin chain making up the necklace.
As you may know, platinum is a precious metal that is different from 18-karat gold because platinum is used at 95% purity for making jewelry while 18-karat gold is 75% pure, therefore platinum jewelry is denser and heavier (in general) than gold jewelry, something you will feel when wearing your platinum wedding ring on your finger or your platinum necklace on your neck.
This chain is available in two distinct widths:
- 1 mm: the platinum chain is 1 millimeter wide and is therefore very thin, so it will also suit women with its discreet style
- 1.5 mm: the platinum chain is 1.5 millimeters wide and therefore more suitable for a man
While both chain widths are perfect for a woman, we also have a thinner, feminine platinum necklace here. For a man, we recommend choosing a width of 1.5 millimeters. If you would like a larger platinum chain, please contact us through this online form.
Note that you have the choice in the drop-down side menu of the length of your necklace which can be 40 centimeters, 45 or 50 centimeters in length.
Note that this type of platinum chain is not made in our workshop and while we make platinum jewelry, we do not make platinum chains this fine.

Platinum is a gray metal in its natural state that keeps its color over time and without any particular care. Platinum is characterized by its extremely high melting temperature of more than 1700°C, it is a noble metal that is unalterable and is a little less hard than 18-karat white gold but is much more resistant to abrasion than the latter. Our artisanal jewelry workshop does not mass produce, nor have any stock, so your necklace will be manufactured in our workshop after receiving your order.
Please take into account a manufacturing lead time of 6 weeks for the manufacture of the latter in our workshop before shipping your package.
We master every step of the making process of your jewelry, from CAD modeling, 3D printing, lost wax casting, and precious metal handiwork, to the setting of gemstones and diamonds, which allows us to guarantee the quality of our jewelry.

First, be sure to choose the correct length for the chain of your necklace. 18 inches in length is average, 16 inches a bit small, and 20 inches for bigger people. 15 inches is usually perfect for a choker necklace.
